Diamantakis winery is a modern winery in Crete. It is located southwest part of Heraklion city in the heart of the Malevizi province, outside Kato Assites village.
Family's purpose is the production of high quality wines with both respect and care towards the cultivation process. This is traditionally achieved by combining the unique microclimate of the area with the native varieties like Liatiko, Vidiano and Mandilaria.
According to Decanter, Diamantopetra White is one of the best White Wine of the Year 2020.

Now in its seventh year, The Wine Merchant Top 100 is the only competition for wines aimed excusively at the UK's indipendent wine merchants, judged by the merchants themselves. This year's winners were chosen from a field of more than 830 entriesby a panel of 25 independent wine merchants overseen by competition director, David Williams.
Among the 100 wines been awarded, Diamantopetra White 2018 awarded as The Best White Wine in the competition.
